Blix makes approachable hub-drive bikes out of Santa Cruz with a family/cargo lean. The cargo models carry real weight, so brake wear, spoke tension, and rack hardware loosening lead the repair list. Electrical issues center on display connectors and the occasional controller, both serviceable on-site. Batteries are proprietary; Blix support is responsive but shipping a bike is impractical, which makes mobile repair the natural fit for these owners.
