Mobile eBike Repair

Pre-purchase inspection

Do not buy a used eBike blind.

A certified mobile mechanic meets you at the seller, inspects the bike, tests the battery, and tells you what it is actually worth. Before you hand over the money.

Enter the ZIP where the bike is, not where you live.

One visit. Full report in your hands the same day.

The expensive part is the part you cannot see.

A used eBike looks fine in a parking lot. The battery is the problem. It is sealed, it does not show wear, and it is 40 percent of what you are paying for. A pack at the end of its life can cost more to replace than the bike is worth, assuming the brand still sells one.

Then there is everything else. Water damage in the harness. A cracked frame under the paint. A motor that sounds right cold and fails under load. Parts that were discontinued when the brand folded.

Sellers are not usually lying. Most of them do not know either.

Your other option is paying someone else to be sure.

Certified and reconditioned eBikes exist for exactly this reason. A company buys the bike, ships it to a warehouse, puts a mechanic on it, and sells it to you with a guarantee. That works, and you pay for it in the price.

The whole industry has organised itself around one fact: nobody trusts a used eBike until a mechanic has touched it.

We do the same thing without the warehouse. The bike stays where it is, the seller keeps their listing, you keep the private party price, and a mechanic still touches it before your money moves.

An hour that changes the number.

We meet you and the seller at the bike. A mechanic who works on eBikes every day goes through it systematically, pulls diagnostic data off the battery and display, and hands you a report before you decide.

Three outcomes, all of them useful

Buy it at asking

The bike is what it looks like, and now you know.

Buy it for less

You will know exactly what needs work and what it costs, in writing, before you negotiate.

Walk away

The bike has a dead pack, a cracked frame, or a brand that cannot supply parts. You just saved four figures.

What we check.

Battery
Cycle count, pack voltage, cell balance, voltage under load, pack age, physical and thermal condition, stored error history. We report capacity as a range with a confidence level, because anyone giving you a single exact percentage in a driveway is guessing.
Motor and drive
Power delivery across assist levels, sensor response, motor noise under load, chain and cassette wear, shifting.
Brakes
Pad life, rotor condition, lever feel, leaks, motor cutoff.
Electrical
Display, throttle, lights, harness condition, connector corrosion, evidence of water ingress.
Frame, fork, wheels
Cracks, dents, alignment, suspension, bearings, spokes, tires.
Parts and support outlook
Whether the brand still supports this model, whether the battery is proprietary, whether a replacement pack exists and what it costs. This is the section that keeps people out of orphaned bikes.
Your report
A shareable link and PDF with photos, a pass, caution or fail on every system, an itemized cost to bring it to serviceable condition, and a condition adjusted value: what this specific bike is worth, not what the model is worth in general.

One price, all in.

One price per market. Battery diagnostic included, not an upsell. No trip charge inside the service area.

If you book repair work on the bike within 30 days, we credit the inspection toward it.

Questions

Does the seller have to agree?
Yes, and most do. A seller with a good bike has every reason to say yes. One who refuses has told you something useful for free.
What if the seller cancels?
We rebook at no charge, or credit your fee toward an inspection on a different bike.
Can you really tell me the battery's health?
We can tell you a range, and we tell you how confident we are in it. A true capacity test takes hours on a bench. What we do in the field is read what the system reports, measure how the pack behaves under load, and factor in age and condition. That is enough to separate a healthy pack from a tired one, and we are straight with you about the limits.
Why not just buy a certified reconditioned eBike?
You can, and it is a good option if you want the guarantee. You are paying a premium for the reconditioning and the warehouse behind it. An inspection lets you buy at private party prices and still know what you are getting.
How long does it take?
About an hour on site. Report the same day.
Is this a warranty?
No. It is an expert opinion at a point in time. We cannot see inside sealed assemblies or predict future failures. What we can do is find the problems that are findable, which is most of them.
Do you inspect bikes I am buying online?
If the bike is in a market we cover, yes. Book it and we go to the seller.
What areas do you cover?
Enter your ZIP and we will tell you. We are adding markets steadily. If we are not in yours yet, leave your info and you will be first to know.
