Try this first
Before any update: charge the battery above 50%, keep your phone next to the bike, and do not power anything off mid-update. Interrupted flashes are how bikes get bricked. Bosch, Specialized, and some others require dealer-level tools for certain updates, which mobile techs carry for supported brands. If an update already failed, stop retrying and get it recovered properly.
