Try this first
If the bike was submerged or soaked: remove the battery, do NOT power it on, and let everything dry 24-48 hours indoors. Never pressure-wash an e-bike. That is how most 'rain damage' actually happens. Corrosion shows up weeks later, so even if it seems fine, a connector inspection with dielectric grease is cheap insurance after a serious soaking.
