Rad Power Bikes display Error Codes
These five codes are all electrical faults, and all five stop the ride. This page identifies which one you have. Each code then has its own page with the full check sequence.
Rad Power Bikes builds this system, and every brand using it shows the same codes. Each entry below states the firmware it applies to and links the document it came from.

How the five codes differ
The key difference: 21 is abnormal current; 22 is rider throttle input; 23 is motor power delivery; 24 is motor position feedback; 25 is brake safety input.
General safety rules for electrical error codes
- Turn the bike off and remove the battery before unplugging electrical connectors.
- Pull waterproof connectors straight apart and push them straight together. Do not twist them.
- Do not force bent, misaligned, burned, or melted connectors back together.
- Stop if you find unusual heat, burning odor, melted plastic, damaged wiring, or unpredictable motor behavior.
- Do not keep resetting a recurring ride-stopping fault as a substitute for diagnosis.
- After any repair or reconnection, test the bike cautiously in a controlled area before normal riding.
