Boulder may have more bikes per capita than anywhere in Colorado, and at 5,430 feet against the Flatirons, e-bikes flatten the climbs toward Chautauqua, Table Mesa, and NCAR that used to sort riders into fit and not. The Boulder Creek Path runs the length of town, and the US-36 Bikeway gives commuters a direct ride toward Denver. CU students, tech workers, and families on cargo bikes keep the multi-use path network busy in every season. Upslope storms can drop heavy spring snow, and the sand and de-icer that follow grind into drivetrains, while intense high-altitude sun bakes batteries left outside in summer. Frequent canyon wind gusts add real strain on longer commutes.
We serve all of Boulder, including University Hill, Table Mesa, Gunbarrel, North Boulder, South Boulder, Martin Acres, Newlands, Whittier.

Our techs carry parts and diagnostic tools for the most common ebike platforms in Boulder.
Colorado follows the three-class system: Class 1 (pedal-assist to 20 mph), Class 2 (throttle to 20 mph), and Class 3 (pedal-assist to 28 mph). Class 3 riders must be at least 16, and anyone under 18 riding a Class 3 e-bike must wear a helmet. Class 1 and 2 e-bikes are allowed on bike and pedestrian paths unless a local government prohibits them; Class 3 e-bikes are kept off those paths unless a local government specifically permits them. No driver's license or registration is required.
Laws change, verify current rules with your state DMV before riding.
Most Boulder requests hear back from a certified tech within one business day and are serviced within 1 to 2 days. Ride-stopping problems get priority dispatch.
You get an upfront quote before any work starts. Most common repairs run $30 to $800 including parts and labor, and you approve the estimate first. Diagnostic fees typically credit toward the repair.
The tech tells you honestly what the fix needs, orders the right parts, and schedules a follow-up. You never pay for a repair that does not happen.
Yes. Techs carry parts and tools for the major platforms, including Rad Power, Lectric, Aventon, Super73, Trek, and Specialized, plus generic hub-drive imports. If you are unsure, submit the request anyway.
No separate fee. The visit cost is built into the upfront quote, and you never pay for a repair that does not happen.
