San Francisco's hills are exactly why e-bikes took over here, and exactly why they need more maintenance than almost anywhere else. Grinding up Bernal Heights, Potrero Hill, or anything off the Wiggle loads motors and drivetrains, and the long descents back down burn through brake pads and rotors at a pace that surprises new riders. Fog and salt air rolling through the Richmond, Sunset, and Marina corrode exposed hardware, cables, and connectors, while winter rain washes lubricant off chains. Commuters run the Embarcadero, Market Street, Golden Gate Park paths, and across the Golden Gate Bridge toward Marin, often daily and in all weather. Hydraulic brake service, drivetrain replacement, and corrosion-related electrical issues are the most common jobs we see in the city, and mobile service means no wrestling a 60-pound bike onto transit.
We serve all of San Francisco, including Mission District, SoMa, The Castro, Noe Valley, Haight-Ashbury, Richmond District, Sunset District, Marina.

Our techs carry parts and diagnostic tools for the most common ebike platforms in San Francisco.
California uses a three-class e-bike system: Class 1 is pedal-assist up to 20 mph, Class 2 adds a throttle up to 20 mph, and Class 3 is pedal-assist up to 28 mph. No driver's license, registration, or insurance is required for any class. Helmets are required for all Class 3 riders and for every rider under 18. Class 3 riders must be at least 16 years old, and Class 3 e-bikes are not allowed on most bike paths or trails unless the local authority specifically permits them.
Laws change, verify current rules with your state DMV before riding.
Most San Francisco requests hear back from a certified tech within one business day and are serviced within 1 to 2 days. Ride-stopping problems get priority dispatch.
You get an upfront quote before any work starts. Most common repairs run $30 to $800 including parts and labor, and you approve the estimate first. Diagnostic fees typically credit toward the repair.
The tech tells you honestly what the fix needs, orders the right parts, and schedules a follow-up. You never pay for a repair that does not happen.
Yes. Techs carry parts and tools for the major platforms, including Rad Power, Lectric, Aventon, Super73, Trek, and Specialized, plus generic hub-drive imports. If you are unsure, submit the request anyway.
